Whitni helps charities, social enterprises and sustainable businesses raise investment to grow and increase their positive impact. She launched the Triodos crowdfunding platform and is responsible for raising capital from high net worth individuals, social investment funds, charitable trusts and foundations, institutional investors, as well as individuals. Whitni joined Triodos Bank in 2006 working in the venture capital team making equity investments in ethical businesses and helping to grow the bank’s presence in the social investment market. Whitni started her career at JP Morgan where she worked for six years structuring debt for leveraged buy-outs. She has also worked in microfinance in Mexico and lead the access to finance work of the New Economics Foundation. Whitni is on the social investment board of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the advisory board of Big Society Capital, as well as a primary school governor.
